Judging day should be the easy part.

Guild Gold runs your guild's beer competition from the first brewery registration to the last medal. Every stage has a clear finish line, and you can see which ones you've crossed. By the time judges sit down, there's nothing left to chase.

Most competition software stops at the entry. Your competition doesn't.

Collecting registrations and payments is only the start. Then come the boxes, the cellar, the flight sheets, the judging schedule, the scoresheets and the awards deck. Today most of that lives in spreadsheets, group texts and whoever remembers where things are. Guild Gold was built for all of it.

Four gates between you and a calm judging day.

Guild Gold breaks the season into four stages, each with a plain definition of done. You sign each one off when it's true, so you know exactly where things stand weeks before judging.

Registration

Breweries register, pay and ship on their own, and get it right the first time.

The Brewery Portal walks each brewery through entering, paying and shipping, in that order. Their beers stay on file, so a returning brewery picks last year's IPA from a list and moves on, and your inbox stays quiet.

  • Your categories, your questions. Styles, categories, base styles and special-ingredient questions come straight from your guidelines.
  • Charges reviewed before checkout. Breweries see exactly what they owe and pay by card.
  • Labels and shipping instructions per box. Every bottle arrives already identified.
  • Their own status, in their own portal. Received, in transit, judged, and later their scoresheets and results.

Receiving

Each box is checked against what the brewery said they sent, the moment it arrives.

Receiving starts with a scan. Guild Gold shows what that box is supposed to hold, your team confirms what's actually in it, and anything short, extra or damaged becomes a tracked exception with an owner.

  • Scan on arrival. The declared contents appear the moment the label is read.
  • Counts checked at the desk. Short and extra bottles are flagged while the box is still open.
  • Put-away that confirms itself. Each box is scanned onto its cooler and shelf, so anyone on the team can find it.
  • Pull lists for every flight. The right bottles leave the cellar for the right table.

Competition

Flights drafted from your rules, and one schedule the whole crew works from.

Guild Gold drafts your flights from your rules: style groupings, target sizes and the conflicts you care about. Every flight gets a fit score, so you can see at a glance which ones need a second look. Move entries by hand whenever you like; the balance updates as you go.

  • Auto-flighting weighted by your rules. Then drag, drop or reassign until it's right.
  • Conflicts in plain sight. They're flagged on the board while you plan.
  • One schedule for every session. Tables, times and crews together, with gaps called out by name.
  • Spreadsheet-friendly. Export flights to CSV, edit them in Excel, and bring them back in.

Scores are saved on the device and sync when the connection comes back.

  • Blind by design.

Judges see a tasting position and a blind ID. Brewery names never reach the table.

  • The room at a glance.

The Command Center shows throughput, open steward flags and which tables are running behind.

Results

Results you can stand behind, released when you say so.

Medals and Best of Show come straight from accepted scoresheets, with advancement recorded round by round. Nothing goes public until you publish it, and you can pull it back if something needs a second look.

  • A deliberate publish. Hold, publish or hide results with one clear control.
  • Scoresheets back to every brewery. Showing only what your policy allows.
  • Ready for the stage. Exports for the awards presentation and the ceremony itself.

Built for the people who answer for the event.

When a brewery asks why an entry scored the way it did, or a board member asks whether the cellar count is right, you need an answer you can show. Guild Gold keeps one.

  • Your rules, configured.

Your committee owns categories, eligibility, scoring and awards policy, and Guild Gold is set up to match.

  • Every change has a name on it.

Audit history records who changed what, and when, across entries, boxes, flights and results.

  • Everyone sees only their own work.

Breweries see their own entries. Judges see blind IDs. Staff see the pages their role needs.

  • Your data stays yours.

Export your competition data in common formats whenever you want it.

  • Nothing to install.

It runs in a modern browser on the laptops, tablets and phones your volunteers already carry.

  • Help on judging day.

On-site support is available for your judging days.
